Overnight Hospitality 

77% say they ALWAYS bring a hospitality gift no matter what the circumstances are.

85% bring a gift upon their arrival rather than after their departure.

52% spend over $30 on their overnight hostess gifts.

ON THE TOPIC OF ...

Wedding Gifts 

90% feel it’s polite to still purchase a wedding gift even if they have already purchased a bridal shower gift.
84% send a wedding gift even when they cannot attend the wedding.
80% say there ARE circumstances where it is okay to NOT purchase something on the registry.

 ON THE TOPIC OF ...

Baby Gifts

 70% feel that if you have already purchased a gift for mom’s baby shower you DO NOT need to also send a gift when baby arrives.

80% will purchase gifts for mom’s second baby.

51% think it’s polite to get a baby gift for the office mates you interact with on a daily basis (i.e. your boss, direct report(s), direct coworker(s)).  


ON THE TOPIC OF ...

Significant Other Holiday Gifts

72% think you should buy your partner a Christmas gift even if you have only been dating 3 months or less.

93% think you should buy your partner a Christmas gift even if you have only been dating 3- 6 months. 

The most preferred type of gift for someone dating their partner 6+ months is an experience gift (95% prefer this) followed by jewelry (89%), and then handbags (79%).


ON THE TOPIC OF ...

Office Holiday Gifts

35% always give holiday gifts to their coworkers.

41% always give holiday gifts to their boss.

64% feel alcohol is always an office appropriate holiday gift.


ON THE TOPIC OF ...

In-Law Holiday Gifts

79% say it’s ABSOLUTELY necessary to buy your in-laws holiday gifts.

46% say it’s still necessary if you are dating (rather than married) and they technically aren’t your in-laws.

The most preferred type of gift for this gifting situation is a home accessory item (i.e. vase, frame, soaps etc)
